To make the Zambezi suitable accommodation for their 5-year world-tour Fred and Elisabeth are making significant changes to the tent-trailer. The kitchen will be extended, a 40-litre water tank fitted as well as additional storage room created, including a wet-weather closing locker. An advanced alarm system will be installed together with extra security fittings.

The main modification however is imposed by the need to have electrical power for the small fridge, lighting and comms anywhere in the world, during which 110 to 240Volts, 50-70Hz will be encountered
